Travelmarvel Unveils Europe Coastal Cruising 2025

5 July 2025

Travelmarvel is thrilled to announce the launch of its 2025 Europe Coastal Cruising program. The MS Caledonian Sky, renowned for its intimate cruising experience, will make its grand return to the APT family – sailing with Travelmarvel for the first time in the Mediterranean. From April to October 2025, this season introduces 13 meticulously crafted itineraries, including two extended combination journeys, offering travellers an array of premium cruising.

The MS Caledonian Sky accommodates an average of 100 passengers with a crew of 70, boasting one of the highest crew-to-guest ratios in Europe. Accompanied by an experienced Cruise Director and an on-board team, plus expert local guides, guests will uncover the rich history and culture of the region with ease. Onboard, guests will enjoy a variety of social spaces on board the small ship, superb dining with a range of included local beer, wine and soft drinks during lunch and dinner, and premium suites with ocean views.

Delving into all the must-see destinations, plus Mediterranean hidden gems. Key highlights of the new itineraries include the 8-day Greek Island Explorer, cruising from Athens return from just $4,995 per person. Guests will delight in a visit to a local olive oil press and the opportunity to explore the ancient city of Ephesus.

The 15-dayMediterranean Treasures from Venice to Istanbul takes guests along the coastlines of Croatia, Montenegro, Italy, Greece and Türkiye with highlights including a visit to Krka National Park. While The 15-day Adriatic & Aegean Delights from Venice to Athens stops at destinations including Croatia’s Dubrovnik and Montenegro’s Kotor, Italy’s Puglia coast and Greece’s Delphi and Mykonos.

The 11-day Highlights of Canary Islands and Madeira travels from Tenerife to Porto. Highlights of the trip include discovering Funchal’s terracotta-topped buildings and lush green hills, and celebrating Porto’s wine-making traditions at a local port cellar.

Travelmarvel’s CEO, David Cox, expressed excitement for offering guests all-new itineraries, bringing a much-loved ship to Mediterranean shores, “Thanks to its boutique size, the MS Caledonian Sky allows you to access smaller ports and dock right in the heart of a city or town. With cabins starting at a generous 22sqm, guests will find incredible value in spacious accommodations tailored for comfort and relaxation. A true small ship experience, however with the indulgence of bigger suites.”

“With the ship's shallow draught, we are able to slip away from the pack, into remote coastal towns or shallow waters. Guests will get a greater insight into authentic Mediterranean local life and on many days, we also stay docked later into the evening so that guests can explore after other tourists have left for the day.” Cox added, “The brand-new itineraries also feature the must-see sights, with an abundance of free time to either discover Europe at your own pace or join one of the optional sightseeing tours on offer. You can veer away from the tourist track to unearth real gems, hidden along back streets. Or perhaps you feel like an afternoon off to just relax. It’s up to you.“
