This evening, be thrilled by the acclaimed Field of Light art installation, which has delighted visitors since April 2016. With more than 50,000 solar-powered stems, covering the area of seven football fields, the exhibition is aptly named Tili Wiru Tjuta Nyakunytjaku or ‘looking at lots of beautiful lights’.

The Field of Light art installation, a global phenomenon by internationally acclaimed artist Bruce Munro, has come home to the place that inspired it - Uluru. The British artist conceived the idea at Uluru in 1992 after eight years in Australia. Pathways draw viewers into the installation, which comes to life under a sky brilliant with stars. The installation, aptly named Tili Wiru Tjuta Nyakutjaku by the local community means 'looking at lots of beautiful lights' in local Pitjantjatjara will be in place until 31 December 2020.

Kings Canyon Rim Walk

Embark on the Kings Canyon Rim Walk. On this captivating hike, venture around the rim of the canyon’s incredible sandstone walls. After reaching the lookout, be rewarded as you marvel at the spectacular views of the canyon itself. About halfway along is the Garden of Eden, featuring a waterhole and bright riverine vegetation.

Yellow Water Cruise's vessel on the billabong at sunrise.Yellow Water Billabong, Kakadu's most famous wetland, is located at the end of Jim Jim Creek, a tributary of the South Alligator River. The river system, which is the largest in Kakadu, contains extensive wetlands that include river channels, floodplains and backwater swamps.Covering nearly 20,000 square kilometres, Kakadu National Park is teeming with wildlife, home to important Aboriginal rock art sites, and takes in diverse and exotic landscape.
